Our story

A small house with a big flame

Dar Zayna stands for beauty, warmth and hospitality — a house where the rich flavours of Morocco come together. Everything revolves around the charcoal grill: kefta, merguez, chicken fillet and our famous ribs are grilled fresh to order.

Everything is prepared by hand, inspired by family recipes from Fez and Casablanca. From a quick mint tea to a hearty dürüm after a long night in town: the portions are generous, the sauce is homemade and the hospitality is unmistakably Moroccan.

The grill makes the difference: kefta and merguez straight off the flame. Everything is still fresh late in the evening too. Definitely a must in Utrecht.
